§ 10-2. Abandoned iceboxes, refrigerators, etc.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to leave outside of any building or dwelling, in a place accessible to children, an abandoned, unattended refrigerator, icebox, freezer or other container without first removing therefrom any door attached thereto.

(b)

It shall be the duty of the code enforcement officer and the office of planning and development to enforce this section. The penalty fees shall be no less than fifty dollars ($50.00) and shall not exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each offense.
